How much does it cost?

The school’s online curriculum for the 2023-2024 school year is $475 per student, per month for the 180-day school year cycle. This totals $4750 per student, per grade academic level and school year. Due to the nature of the school’s digital environment, there are no discounts calculated for additional children from the same household enrolled in our program. Each student receives a unique username and credentials for their grade. There are other fees that may be required for additional elective and accelerated courses. There are 6 core courses included in the tuition pricing above. Please contact the school for more information.

Payment Plans are scheduled in 3 payments, 4 payments or a one-time yearly payment of $4750. Courses do not begin until the registration fee is paid, one of the payment plans is selected, and the 1st payment is made. For example, if the family selects a 3-month payment plan then the 3-month plan tuition amount of $1583 is due ($4750 divided by 3) in order to access courses. All tuition payments are due 1 month before your student’s school year (180 days) ends. Tuition includes the books for courses and digital assignments. There are items each teacher may have listed in the course as additional supplies. This is not covered by tuition and is the responsibility of the parent/student.

Upon receipt of payment for tuition and fees due, the student account will be created, and you will be issued a username and password to begin coursework. Masters Academy. Online will provide access to a 7-day free trial of curriculum to allow students the opportunity to test our curriculum before payment of tuition is due. For this reason, tuition is non-refundable once courses begin. If courses have not begun and the student wishes to withdraw from the program, we must receive your request to withdraw in writing at: withdrawals@mastersacademy.online with your request to issue refund of all fees paid within 72 hours (3 days) of registration. We must receive the withdrawal request in writing and within the specified window above due to our digital enrollment of students online. If not received, the school will NOT be able to issue refunds. Please contact the school and speak with one of our team members before you enroll your student. Please access the 7-day free trial before you commit to our online program.

For more information about enrollment, tuition, fees, withdrawal, the trial period and any of our payment plans and how we can work with your family, please email us at info@mastersacademy.online with subject line “QUESTION”. In the body of the email, please tell us a little of about yourself and/or your student, so we can be better prepared to speak with you about what programs are available. One of our team members will contact you by phone or via email within 24 hours.

What is the parent's role?

In the 3rd-12th grade environment, the parent acts as a Learning Coach who facilitates progress through daily lessons. Suggested weekly lesson plans are provided, which update automatically as the child progresses. The lesson plans can be varied to accommodate the child's pace or abilities. A wide array of practical advice, tips, and substantial support is always available. A print curriculum is available for grades Pre-K-Kindergarten.

In the High School program, the parent still plays an important supportive role to help the student stay on task and ensure follow-through on his or her assignments. During high school, the student is expected to start managing his or her own time and academic schedule more directly.

How much time do students spend on the computer?

Computers help us provide you with effective assessment, planning, and time-management tools. We expect that students will spend no more than an average of 10 to 15 hours per week online and the other academic time will be spent learning through reading books, completing assignments, teacher interaction. One-on-one learning activities, extracurricular activities and competitive annual events, sports and/or hobbies are also part of our day. Students are encouraged to be involved in local community events where they live.

What computer skills are required?

Some basic skills are required for grades 3rd-12th. Use of the computer is an important part of the program, but in the early grades it is mostly the parent (or other responsible adult) who interacts with the computer. The program is very user-friendly. Please contact the school for a demo.
